Vintage Challenge #45

Hope that you have all  had a super summer,
no matter where you've been or what kind of wonderful
and fun things you've been doing!

We are back to work, kids are back at school/day care
and life will soon be plodding along as normal.

Perfect time to set aside some private time
and to be a little creative again!

We at
want challenge you to make something
following the theme:
It can be whatever you choose to make: card, LO, box, tags, canvas etc etc.
Remember it must be VINTAGE though.

Our new sponsor this month is

Mulberry crafts UK.

You have until Sept. 13th at 6pm.
to post your projects, see the sidebar for the rules.
Here are my 2 cards for the Design Team:

My Projects have a kind of Scottish vintage feel to them this time,
I was inspired during my trip home to Scotland,
with visits to beautiful old romantic castles.

I have used Spellbinders hearts, old book paper,
tartan fabric torn into a strip,
lace straps and genuine vintage buttons.
Edges have a light distressing with
'Old Paper' Distress.

I gave the book sheets and the lace (which was too white) a 'bath' in coffee
and a blast with the heat gun to dry them.

Here I have folded a large tag in the center to form a small card.
I've used Dylusions ink spray 'melted chocolate'.
the paper frame from 'Kort og Godt' also got a coffee bath.

Inside I stamped and glued into a super cute
small tag and envelope by Melissa Frances!
