Thank You - The vintage/shabby way.

There is so much to do in the garden at the moment,

and since the weather has been sunny and hot

the whole family has been outside all weekend,

be it raking, digging, changing winter tyres,

raking, playing in the sand pit, did I mention raking??

we're almost there!

Today it rained and was a tad chilly again,

so the rake got a rest and my hobby desk is a mess!

heres why...

I made this Thank You card with a special lady in mind,

a very generous and fun spreading soul,

that I have gotten to know and grown fond of....

'Who is it??' I hear you say!,

'well that would be telling now wouldn't it!!'

(it is a secret for the moment until the owner recives it.)

I have a love for all things old,

I like trying to make my cards look as if they have been

standing around on mantelpeices for centurys,

all yellowed and faded.

(minus the dust mind!)

Martha Stewart Doily Punch,

lace and ribbon - Minnehjørne,

fabric brad - Panduro,

Vintage seam binding and button - stash box.

I have distressed the edges with sissors,

Distress Ink - Old paper then I sewed around the panel with my machine.
