Welcome to another challenge at
Easter is almost upon us, and our challenge
this time (no.37) is to make an Easter basket in
Vintage/shabby style of course!
You have until the 28th March 1800 hrs.
The team has had a DT call, and our first new member is
Be sure to check out her blog,
and the other tallented design team ladys too.
I have made 2 projects for this challenge
and hope I inspire you to take part yourself!
This is a basket/bag that I made using a die template
that I glued together.
I have used gesso and crackle paint on the cardboard,
then decorated it with some lovley design papers.
Here is a close-up of the tag I made using a sticker,
Martha Stewarts Doily punch,
distressed with sandpaper and inks,
the message is hand written.
How cute are these wee birds peeking over the top!
They are from Panduro hobby shop.
Here is my next project,
a sweet little basket made from Rachels tutorial
HERE.
I made this basket starting with a 6x6 inch peice of kraft paper.
As you see there is space for two real eggs in this size,
you can of course fill it with chocolates
but real eggs are better for you ;OD
You can also make the basket starting
with 9x9inch card or 12x12inch card.
I made my own template and decorated
the inside of the basket using papers from Prima.
I am entering these baskets into the following challenges:
Stamp Magic - challenge #56 - Easter nest. (ends 31/3)
C.C.C - #6 - Vintage. (ends 25/3)
Whoopsie daisy challenge - punch it out. (ends 28/3)
Stampin for the weekend - photo inspiration (ends 22/3)
Thats all for now folks!
Enjoy your weekend :O)
