hÄnglar and stÄngler kort GDT- Totally Gorjuss

Having recovered from the Champagne and Prawn party I attended last night, I now get round to posting this card and
Yeehaaa! I have been thinking about and wanting to try out a different kind of folding card for AGES and have finally gotten round to doing something about it!!
What do you think? I found the card was quite heavy so it kept on sliding out at the bottom, so I glued in a peice of paper joining the front and back together that folds neatly away when the card is closed. Is there anyone that has any tips of doing that another way? I can't be the first on to have problems with it sliding open??

This card is made as Guest Designer for the Totally Gorjuss Challenge 43 - Aqua shades.

Tilda Friend card - GDT Totally Gorjuss

Helloooo I'm down here... :OD
Our challenge this week at Totally Gorjuss is a great Sketch sponsered by the lovley
Joanna Sheen The lucky winner will recieve a £10 gift voucher to spend in her shop!
Its been a day in the garden for my family and I, picnic lunch and all.
Hubby cut the overlong grass on our massive lawn ( must make more flowerbeds...) whilst I did a bit of raking and my boys played in the left over rain water from yesterday in a great big muddy puddle at the end of our driveway! They had a ball, and where covered in mud, grass and sand before the day was over! They got a quick wipe down before we went in for spag.bol. for dinner, then they were both orange! The plan of course was bath before bed but the munchkins were so tired out we would have had troubles keeping them awake to do it!
What the heck i'll just have to change their bed clothes and they can have a bath in the morning!
Enough spraff from me and on to my card...
The lovley Tilda stamp and Cuttlebug I borrowed from the very tallented Wenche, so if you havn't seen her work pop over to her blog and be wowed :O)

Recipe:
Inks: Versafine - onyx Black, Colourbox Chalk - purple, Silver and black. Tilda is painted with Distress Inks Reinkers - Aged Mahogany, Tea Dye, Frayed Burlap, Tattered Rose, Bundled Sage, Pumice Stone and Barn Door.

I have made such a mess in my wee hobby room this week! I am going to have to spend the rest of the evening tidying it up before I am able to embark on my next crafty project!!
I hope everyone is (if there is anyone still reading that is!) is having as nice a weekend as I :O)

We celebrated my youngest sons 2nd birthday whilst away and are having his party with family this weekend. My Eldest son ( 3ys) really enjoyed the holiday but misunderstood when morning was ( I don't call 3 am ish when the sun rises morning!!) So we have something to work on before we go camping again! Lol. Luckly when they first fell asleep they slept like logs cos it wasn't the quietest campsite I've been to, it was the opposite!

Back to the point! The card was ordered for a wedding (..no, you don't say!) it was to have a vintage style and be able to hold a rather aqward shaped gift card.
Without further a do, here is a rash of photographs...

Totally Gorjuss Challenge # 18

This challenge is named 'Flower power' Totally Gorjuss

This is my contribution:

I made this card really simple, giving the punched flowers and the stamped motiv of
'sitting gorjuss' all the lime light :O)
The gorjuss gal was stamped then cut out with nestabilities, and framed with Tilda paper.
I used my coloured pencils to colour her and then I slightly distressed the edges (flowers too) with a versacraft pale aqua ink pad. The small blings in the flowers come from Kaiser. Do you liiike?
