Mixed Media Birthday cards

I was testing out colour combo's and a layout on an old book page,
for a canvas i'm planning.
Once I was finished I tossed the page to one side.

When I was tidying up I thought
'i can't throw that away!'
as I do....
(i'm not very good at throwing stuff out)
I thought of pasting it into my Art journal,
but decided to make it into birthday cards instead.

I cut the page in two and pasted them each
onto a peice of craft board.
Each card is roughly 10x15cm.
I inherited a whole load of Letraset numbers and letters
from my father-in-law,
and decided to use some of them on the cards,
they are great, so easy to use.

Then added a strip of washi tape.
Otherwise I used structure paste, wall reinforcing tape,
gesso, Dylusion spray inks,
a circle stencil and some old punchenella.
Lastly I drew a line around the edge with
a fineline pen.
DA-NAAA
 two mixed media birthday cards.

ALL FUN AT THE FARM!
