In the meantime we have a new challenge for you to try over at the
We have a great sketch for you to follow,
as usual it will need to be vintage/shabby style,
otherwise you can make the sketch on whatever you choose.
We are sponsering the challenge again
and the lucky winner will receive a sett
of our 'Damask Dreams' digital papers
designed and made by my Husband and I.
Here is my card:
I have used our 'Damask Deams - Athens' digital papers
for the background attached to a light gray heavy craft paper base
(I prefer to print the papers out on matt photo paper, they look great)
Along with an old book page, papers from
MinneHjørnet - by Gudrun Loennechen.
The beautiful pink boarder is from Crate paper.
I attached rubons from Basic Gray to a shape I cut from
some paper scraps, along with some pearl and bling swirls from Prima.
The lace from Kaisercraft was a little dark, so I painted it bit
here and there with some distress picket fence crackle paint.
The sweet wee paper flowers are from Petaloo.
I have distressed all of the paper edges with a pair of sissors
and applyed Distress ink -old paper and vintage photo.
Some parts of the card have had a spray of
Perfect pearl spray mist - Biscotti
but this dosen't show up very well in the photos.
Bellow is the sketch to follow,
and this time you have a whole month
in which to take part.
We have an extended deadline because of the
Just make sure you load up
by the 28th of July 10pm.
Have a nice summer!
