New Art Journal!

A new Art Journal has been born!

This time a much smaller one than my first one.

This will suit the smaller scale pages that I sometimes prefer.

 Here it is from the front.

Side.

Cardboard letters distressed with sandpaper and ink then glued on, 

and rub-on transfers.
Lykke = Happiness.

 I distressed a canvas picture.

Here I have glued a scrap from an old music book 

in a metal frame then painted it with glossy accents.

Oh and here is a before picture of the book.

And I have started on the inside too! hehe, 

here are some pages I have made so far...

 My 'lykketroll' (Happy troll)

 Here I have used Rub-ons, and loads of letter stickers, 

It reads;

'Ta det vakkert.

Det du gjør skal du gjøre 

uten å stresse,

men du skal likevel

ikke gjøre det 

for langsomt.

Det du gjør skal du gjøre

med ro og indre glede,

Og du skal gjøre det NÅ.'

Translated:   

'Take it beautifully. 

What you do must do 

do without the stress, 

but you should still 

not do it too slowly. 

What you must do

do with peace and inner joy, 

And to do it NOW'

I am so happy with my new Art Journal!
