Designteam Vintage Challenge #35

Well January has just flown by!
Hence only one post here so far in 2012!
It's not been a great start to the year,
the 'flu' type illness that has been menacing
our house for the past few weeks
has almost been shown the door.
As sharing is in our nature the whole family has had it.
I got away very lightly,
but then someone has to,
who would look after everyone if we all went down with it?!
Apperently there has never been so many kids of at the same time
from our boys nursery!

Ok enough talk about illness, i'm done with that.
Over to our new challenge at

The challenge this time is to make a 3D project,
with height and dimention,
this could be to make a box, a book, or a card, the design
and decoration is up to you but do remember all entrys to be
vintage!

Here is what I have made, I hope it inspires you to get crafty
and join in!

(click on the pictures to have a closer look)
I have used a canvas frame for the base,
and worked with 3D modeling texture paint,
Gesso paint, white mat spray paint,
chipboard letters and distress inks.
I have used a round punch to cut out words
from old book pages to tell a little story,
and lots of different text and swirl stamps round the edges.
My clever husband has designed the beautiful paper in the middle!

You have until 6pm on the 28th of February
to enter the challenge.
Our sponser this time is.....

A French shop that designs such sweet stamps.
There is a stampset up for grabs
for the design teams chosen winner!

I am entering this into the following challenges:
C.C.C Challenge #4 - Vintage.(7.2)
DYSU #57 - Anything goes. (8.2)

Thank you so much to those of you that take the time to leave me a comment :O))
Have fun
Nina x
