My first Tea-light card

This type of project has been on my 'to try' list for a while now,

and boy was it fun to make when I finally got round to giving it a go!

I am really happy with the result too.

It is a first but definatly not the last :OD

The stamp says

'Congratulations on your Birthday'

'Go with confidence in the direction of your dreams,

live the life you have imagined'.

Inside.

Pocket to the left with a message tag,

Pocket to the right to hold 6 tealights

(I chose ones in a light blue colour, with a sent of fresh cotton...Yummy!)
The text stamp inside reads ' Hug to you'.

The spine.

A little detail of a copper heart attached with a copper jump ring.

I am LOVING the thick velvet ribbon with the loop details from Bikubben.

The beautiful design Papers are from Maja Design, trinkets from Minne Hjørne,

Text stamps from Stempelglede

(a gift from wenche, and I am so pleased with them! Thanks honey).

I have used pink and blue coloured pencil to colour the details on the stamps.

Cardstock Bazzil Biscuit (?), flowers from Story Teller, edge punch 'doily' from Martha Stewart.

The whole project is distressed along the edges with sandpaper and a nail file,
