Love Buttons

A friend popped round today and mentioned that it was his mums birthday, a date we should have had on our calender !!! Inger Marie is a lovley lady and always a great help when we need it, she babysits, she listens, she advises, she bakes and even makes food for christenings and partys etc that we have held. Always willing to help out wherever and whenever possible.

So I threw myself at my desk and put this card together in record time, fending off my young boys with one arm as they try to get into my button box i'm moving my distress ink pad out of reach with the other arm whilst trying to cut paper and glue down buttons with the other hand, and be creative in my head etc etc

Wait a minute.. I seem to have too many arms! Does anyone else get that feeling sometimes??

Ha ha

Anyway I made it, and despite finding lots of tiny brown finger prints on my cupboard doors (I obviously didn't get the ink pad away quick enough). Luck had it, we had a nice bottle of chardonnay cooling in the fridge ( to give away, not for me to cool down my stress) :O))

I knew there was a challenge on to use buttons over at the Cupcake challenge blog .

I have used vintage buttons, paper scraps, vintage photo distress inks, ribbons from Riga, (a-riba-a-riba!) Sorry i'm in a playful mood this evening. (presant from Wenche) and her MS border punch (thank u ).
