Here is a finished page in my second and smaller Art Journal.
I have been building up the background for ages,
by stamping my stamps clean on
a gesso prepaired page, before I decided it was ready
to actually work onI love how the text in the book
is still visable in some places, and the random stamps.
The sweet house stamps I have painted
using distress inks are borrowed from Mettepip,
and are by Dyan.
I am entering this into:
Papirdokkene - Maling/mist. (25/3)
Have a lovely weekend.
Nina.
Hello Nina! How lovely to *see* you today! It is cold, dreary, grey, wet - all the worst aspects of UK weather (which you may remember well!) has happened today! :( The weatherman says it's going to be unseasonably cold next week and snow is expected in the north - so we're looking forward to Spring but it ain't coming yet!!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you created that page - it is so gorgeous - the text showing through so subtly is beautifully done and love the pop of colours on the houses too!
Have a great weekend honey and pop by to see you again soon!
What an interesting and very KOOL page will be looking forward to seeing the other pages....
ReplyDeleteFlot side, gesso er et fedt produkt, som jeg lige har opdaget, men aldrig slipper igen :)
ReplyDeleteGreat art journal! I'm happy to be a new follower :D
